Small tasks

Yesterday I was down in the garage to fix some small bits.
Mainly tie the cables up to the frame. This way I can move on to adjust clutch and gear cables.

I adjusted the clutch cable for now but will have to fix it up better when everything is assembled.

Rest was about some tools clean up. Organising them in the drawers I have. I also connected some terminals to the Wassel unit.

Finally I hade a look at the hydraulic master and the parts supplied with it. Unfortunately I have received the wrong hose with to much degree of angled terminals. Will have to wait for replacement.

Next I will have to found a small reservoir that fits underneath the horn over.

Adjuster block

I decided to buy a improved gear and clutch cable guide. I found one that seemed to be a good fit. Hopefully it will aid cable adjustment.

I had a little difficulties figuring it out. which way should the cable adjuster go and such.

Once installed I realised that the clutch cable will rub on the guides body. I added the plastic protecting sleeve but it still fells odd that it rubs.
If it will impose a problem I can always grind it down.

Anyone used one of these?

Crank and mag housing

In the weekend I’ve mounted the crank into my engine. I had bought a pulling sleeve from scooter-center.de which made the installation an ease!

The maghousing was simple to mount, I used the paper gasket and a little tab of red sealant. put some grease on the mag housing so it was easy to fit.

I did pack it up with high melting point grease before.

Next in line is the front and rear sprocket and chains!
